Glenn Buckholz

I graduated from the Allegheny College with a BS in computer science and the University of Pittsburgh with a MS in computer science. After my long tenure in academia, I then decided to try my hand at consulting. For the next 5 years at a company called RST, later changing its name to Cigital, as a consultant I implemented automated test frameworks and introduced the idea of change management to many, many projects. I then decided to become a part of honest society and settled down at the PCAOB as their full time enterprise change manager. After several years, feeling the wanderlust one more time, I ventured out back into the consulting world with some old friends from Cigital and I now work at Coveros. Coveros specializes in implementing Agile practices, standing up cloud infrastructure, implementing CI, and engineering configuration management instead of simply documenting it. Most often I lead CI and deployment automation efforts using my 15 years of industry experience to bring success to customers.

Assuring Delivery with Open Source Continuous Integration in the Cloud

A short demonstration of how CI can be implemented in the cloud using open source tools. The demonstration follows a change from code commit to test results. After the demonstration, the presentation discusses the issues of implementing CI into a non-agile organization, how to ease the transition, and what the tangible benefits are.
